Selena Gomez - an international actor and singer - has become a household name. She's been a part of many projects, but the Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place has had the greatest success. Selena Marie Gomez has a full name. Born on July 22 the 22nd of July, the 22nd of July, 1992 at Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez were the parents of Selena. Selena was the first child of her mother, who was just sixteen at the age of Selena. In the year 2009, Selena was cast in her first film in show business as Gianna in Barney and her Friends. As a result, she played with the most humane and purple dinosaurs. Selena worked on several episodes of season 7 and 8 from 2001 and 2003. Fun fact: Selena is not the only one who sang in Barney as well as his Friends at this time; Demi Lovato was also part of the ensemble cast for the series. Selena Gomez left the show and auditioned for other shows and films however, she did not achieve much success. Her role was only a tiny one in the 2003 film Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over) as well as another role similar to Julie on Walker Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire. The film also gave her the character of Emily Grace Garcia in the 2007 Brain Zapped program for which she composed a tune.
